Web Strategy
…I’m getting ready for a workshop with a local government client. We’re hosting their HR team and taking them through recruitment advertising strategy, employer branding messages, online attraction methods and how to make more effective use of their website. My part is to show them how their site should engage candidates – giving them the information and tools they need to apply easily online. The overall aim is to help the client reduce costs, improve efficiency and look more up to date.
I’m also working with an Account Director with a uni client who has an issue with the return on investment using traditional media to attract students. I’m developing a campaign on MySpace which drives students to a web portal where they can register for online chat with the uni about their area of interest – leading to an online relationship that can maintained hopefully through to enrolment. It’s an exciting strategy and highly measurable.
